Prenatal Massage in Bangkok: Safe Spas for Expecting Mothers (2026)
Updated
A gentle massage can ease back pain, swollen legs and stress during pregnancy, and several Bangkok spas offer dedicated prenatal treatments with trained therapists, side-lying positions and pregnancy-safe oils. A regular Thai massage shop is usually not the right place — traditional Thai massage involves strong acupressure and stretches.
Spas with prenatal treatments
- Nakhon Spa (8th floor, EmSphere, Sukhumvit): prenatal and postnatal treatments with gentle techniques and warm compresses; its prenatal treatment is designed for roughly weeks 25–32.
- CORAN Boutique Spa (Sukhumvit, near BTS Asok): prenatal massage for about weeks 16–32 and Thai postnatal recovery, from about ฿2,000.
- Loft Thai Spa: a trimester-based programme from 13 weeks, adding foot soaks and compresses later in pregnancy.
- Lullaby Spa: a prenatal body massage offered from around five months of pregnancy.
- Home service: Belly Binding Bangkok offers prenatal massage at home.
Safety first
- Check with your doctor first, especially in the first trimester or if your pregnancy is high-risk.
- Tell the spa how many weeks pregnant you are when booking — most only accept certain weeks.
- Ask for a therapist trained in prenatal massage and for side-lying positioning.
- Avoid deep acupressure on the ankles and lower legs, strong stretching, hot stones and saunas.
- Stop if anything feels uncomfortable.
Week ranges and prices come from each spa's own information and can change — confirm when you book.
